Administrative Tasks

Student Samples 

Asking students to correct mistakes is a valuable exercise, but one that takes a lot of mental energy to prepare. Asking Chat to help you create incorrect samples for students to correct can make the process so much quicker and easier! Ask for incorrectly solved math problems, paragraphs with specific grammar errors, etc. 

Differentiation 

• Rewrite passages at different Lexile levels

• Students have mastered ‘X’ - extend their learning with a 20 minute exploration above and beyond their mastered content

Assessment 

Ask Chat to help you create questions for a test over a specific topic.  Make sure to ask for multiple question types including Multiple Choice, Multiple Select, Matching, Short Constructed Response, and Essay questions.

Escape Room

Develop an outline for a middle school escape room with a mystery theme involving a legendary manuscript's missing page. The escape should include three parts: 1) Decoding historical ciphers in an 'ancient library' to find the page, 2) Using historical dates and basic Latin to discover a hidden room, and 3) Solving math-based puzzles to unlock a box with the manuscript page in it. Each challenge should blend educational objectives from history, language, and math with engaging puzzle designs.

Fun Personal Prompts 

• Create a weekly meal plan including diet specifications such as food sensitivities (gluten free), diet (Whole 30), or preferences (kid-friendly, no fish, etc). Ask for a grocery list, and for recipes as needed!

• I’m preparing for a 5K, create me a 3-week workout plan that will prepare me to accomplish this challenge.

• Ask Chat to recommend birthday or holiday presents for friends and family

• Ask for fun date night ideas based on specific interests

• Ask Chat to help you explain a complex topic to your child, or help with their homework

Explain 'X' using 'Y' 

Pick a topic your students struggle with.  (Hint: If you can't think of one off the top of your head, give Chat your grade level and subject area and ask it to generate a list of topics your students might struggle with and pick one to use.)  Ask Chat to explain that topic using a pop culture reference your students are familiar with.  

If the language in the explanation feels too advanced for your students, ask Chat to lower the comprehension level and tone.

Student Struggles 

Do you need to address a difficult topic with a student but aren’t sure how to begin the conversation, or would like guidance on helpful analogies or talking points?  Tell Chat the age level of the student you’re talking to so it can keep references and language appropriate and understandable to their level.  Consider asking it for kid-friendly pop culture references that will help them understand.
